Hexadex Launches Global Capability Centre in Pune as India Operations Expand

New Pune GCC brings together finance and engineering capabilities to support Hexadex businesses worldwide

Hexadex Limited Group has launched a new Global Capability Centre (GCC) in Pune, India, as part of a broader expansion of its manufacturing, engineering and global support capabilities in the country. The GCC will support Hexadex businesses worldwide, including Teconnex UK and Eminox Ltd.

The Pune developments, announced in September, also include new SaveGuard manufacturing capabilities and an Engineering Test Centre, expanding the range of activities undertaken by the Group in India.

Building a Global Capability Centre in Pune

The Hexadex GCC brings together specialist teams across finance and engineering, creating a platform for India-based colleagues to contribute to international projects and collaborate with teams across the Group.

The centre forms part of Hexadex’s One Hexadex strategy, with a focus on strengthening collaboration between locations, building scalable capabilities, sharing knowledge across businesses and supporting more connected ways of working.

Hexadex plans to develop these capabilities further by 2030, with the ambition of enabling the Pune GCC to support more businesses across the Group.

Expanding Manufacturing and Engineering Capabilities

The GCC launch comes alongside other investments at Hexadex’s Pune operation.

On September 8, the Group inaugurated new SaveGuard manufacturing capabilities at its Pune facility. SaveGuard specialises in engineered thermal and acoustic insulation solutions, with the Pune team manufacturing precision-engineered support mats for exhaust aftertreatment systems.

The site has also opened a new Engineering Test Centre, bringing product testing and validation activities in-house. The facility will support engineering teams in assessing product performance, investigating issues and contributing to product development.

Building on Hexadex’s India Journey

Hexadex’s India journey began in 2019. The operation has since grown to more than 200 people and approximately 100,000 sq. ft. of space, with more than 30 million Teconnex clamps manufactured.

The latest developments expand the role of the Pune operation beyond manufacturing to include engineering, testing, finance and global business support.

Together, the GCC, Engineering Test Centre and SaveGuard manufacturing capabilities represent an expansion of the capabilities Hexadex can deliver from India while connecting its teams and businesses across geographies.
