US-based home improvement retailer Lowe’s inaugurated an extension of its existing office space for its India team on 16 October 2026, marking another milestone in the expansion of its operations in the country.
The inauguration was led by Marvin Ellison, Chairman and CEO of Lowe’s Companies Inc., alongside Seemantini Godbole, EVP, Chief Information and AI Officer, Ankur Mittal, SVP, CTO, and MD of Lowe’s India, and members of the company’s leadership team. The ceremony included the unveiling of the new workspace, a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony, and the signing of the gable. The leadership team also took part in an office walkthrough, giving employees an opportunity to experience the new facility.
The company said the workspace would support its continued growth and encourage greater collaboration among teams. However, it has not disclosed the facility’s size, seating capacity, or the number of employees it is expected to accommodate.

Lowe’s India: Building Capabilities for Global Retail
