Western Union, a global leader in cross-border money movement and financial services, has launched a new GCC in Hyderabad in collaboration with HCLTech, expanding its India operations to accelerate AI-led innovation, platform-based operating models, and engineering excellence. The centre was inaugurated by Devin McGranahan, President and CEO of Western Union, alongside C. Vijayakumar, CEO and Managing Director of HCLTech and senior leaders from both organisations. The centre will work alongside the company’s Pune Tech Centre as a global hub for technology, engineering and operations, supporting next-generation payments infrastructure and enhanced digital consumer experiences while leveraging HCLTech’s AI-powered solutions.
