Under New CEO, CrashPlan Positions India as Strategic Growth Hub with Major GCC Expansion

CrashPlan, a leading global provider of data protection and cyber resilience solutions, has announced a significant expansion of its Global Capability Center (GCC) in Bengaluru, India marking a major milestone in the company’s global growth strategy.

Following its acquisition of Bengaluru-based Parablu in 2024, CrashPlan leveraged the existing talent and technology foundation to establish a full-fledged GCC that supports critical functions including engineering, AI innovation, product development, and R&D. Under the leadership of CEO Dan Beer, who took charge in April 2025, the company is driving accelerated growth across India, APAC, and the Middle East. With global revenues nearing USD 100 million, CrashPlan is targeting double-digit growth in the next two years — with India expected to play a pivotal role.

The Bengaluru GCC currently employs around 100 professionals and is poised to double its headcount as the company scales operations.
