Marriott International has officially opened the Marriott Tech Accelerator in Hyderabad, India, marking the hospitality giant’s first-ever Global Capability Center (GCC). The state-of-the-art facility was inaugurated by Drew Pinto, EVP & Chief Revenue & Technology Officer, Marriott International, alongside Sridhar Babu Duddilla, Hon’ble Minister for IT, Electronics & Communications, Government of Telangana, and senior leadership from Marriott’s global and APEC teams.
The Marriott Tech Accelerator is designed to shape the future of hospitality technology—building scalable platforms, driving AI-led innovation, and strengthening digital and engineering capabilities across Marriott’s operations in 141 countries. The center will play a strategic role in enhancing guest experience, cybersecurity, and enterprise technology for the world’s largest hotel chain.
This expansion builds on Marriott’s earlier announcement (Oct 2024) of a partnership with ANSR to establish the accelerator in Hyderabad. ANSR will continue to support Marriott across advisory, talent, workspace, and operations.
