Germany-based semiconductor leader Infineon Technologies has inaugurated a Global Capability Center (GCC) at GIFT City in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, marking a significant expansion of its R&D footprint in India. The center will focus on semiconductor chip design, product software development, IT services, and supply chain management, aiming to employ 400 engineers. This initiative underscores Gujarat's growing prominence in the semiconductor sector, bolstered by supportive state policies and strategic collaborations.
