Japanese air‑conditioner major Daikin has inaugurated a Global Capability Centre (GCC) in Gurugram, India, in collaboration with Ernst & Young (EY). The facility, christened the Daikin Innovation and Services Hub, is designed to build advanced capabilities in information technology, digital services, data management, finance, artificial intelligence, and related domains. With an initial headcount of approximately 700 professionals, Daikin underscores that this centre is a strategic investment in innovation and talent.
