Announced by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, the Government of Maharashtra (GoM) and Brookfield are set to collaborate on a landmark GCC project with an investment exceeding $1billion, a first-of-its-kind development in Asia.
The upcoming 2 million sq. ft. campus developed by the global investment firm is expected to generate 15,000 high-value direct jobs and over 30,000 indirect job opportunities. CM Fadnavis also shared that the State is in advanced discussions with FedEx to establish a GCC and a logistics support system along the Mumbai-Pune corridor, further accelerating the region’s transformation into India’s premier global operations and logistics powerhouse.
