Financial services major Revolut is set to significantly expand its India presence, with plans to base 40% of its global workforce in the country by 2026, as it scales its Global Capability Center (GCC) operations.
The fintech company is expected to add 1,600 new roles in India, taking its local headcount to around 5,500 employees, out of a global workforce of approximately 12,000.
The expanded India GCC will support a wide range of global functions, including product development, customer support, payment processing, and fraud investigations, playing a central role in Revolut’s global operations.
The move is part of a previously announced £500 million investment over five years into its India business and GCC, underscoring the country’s strategic importance in Revolut’s global scaling strategy.
