SAP Labs has unveiled its second R&D campus in Bengaluru—named the SAP Labs India Innovation Park—with an investment of €194 million. The 41-acre Devanahalli facility was inaugurated by Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, joined by Union IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, state IT Minister Priyank Kharge, and senior SAP executives including Thomas Saueressig (SAP SE) and Sindhu Gangadharan (MD, SAP Labs India).
The new campus nearly doubles SAP’s Bengaluru footprint and will eventually house up to 15,000 professionals. Currently, around 3,200 employees have moved in, with another 4,500 expected to join in phase one. A second phase is slated for completion by Q3 2028.
