Eisai Pharma, a global human healthcare leader, has announced plans to establish a new Global Capability Center (GCC) in Visakhapatnam, India aimed at accelerating its digital transformation and innovation initiatives.
The announcement came during a visit by Makoto Haketsu, Eisai’s Global CIO, to GITAM Deemed‑to‑be University. The center will leverage Visakhapatnam’s skilled talent, academic partnerships, and support from the Andhra Pradesh government and SEZ authorities.
Focused on digital healthcare, data science, and pharma research, the GCC will foster industry‑academia collaboration to co‑develop cutting‑edge solutions. It is expected to integrate Eisai’s global IT, analytics, and innovation frameworks.
