Syneos Health Inaugurates 137K Sq. Ft. Global Life Sciences and Technology Centre in Hyderabad

Syneos Health Expands Hyderabad Presence with Global Life Sciences and Technology Centre

US-based biopharmaceutical solutions organisation Syneos Health has inaugurated its new Global Life Sciences and Technology Centre in Hyderabad, expanding its global capabilities across clinical development, biopharma, AI, data and technology.

The 137,000 sq. ft. centre is Syneos Health’s largest in Asia and third-largest globally. The facility will support global drug development, bringing together teams across clinical development, biopharmaceutical expertise, AI, data and technology.

Headquartered in Morrisville, North Carolina, Syneos Health has an established presence in India, with offices in Gurugram, Hyderabad, Pune and Salem.

Centre to Support Global Drug Development

The Hyderabad centre brings together capabilities spanning clinical development, biopharmaceutical services, AI, data and technology. These capabilities will support Syneos Health’s global drug development activities from India.

The centre forms part of Syneos Health’s broader operations across clinical development, medical affairs, commercialisation and technology, supporting biopharmaceutical customers across the drug development lifecycle.

AI and Technology at the Hyderabad Centre

The new facility combines life sciences capabilities with AI, data and technology, reflecting the role of technology within Syneos Health’s global operations.

The Hyderabad teams will support global programmes across drug development, with the centre bringing together expertise from clinical and technology functions.

Hyderabad’s Life Sciences Ecosystem

Syneos Health’s new centre adds to Hyderabad’s existing life sciences and healthcare ecosystem. According to Sridhar Babu Duddilla, Telangana’s Minister for IT, Electronics & Communications, Industries & Commerce, the addition means four of the world’s top five CROs now have a presence in Hyderabad.

In a LinkedIn post following the inauguration, Sridhar Babu wrote that the centre “brings together clinical development, biopharmaceutical expertise, AI, data and technology, with teams in Hyderabad supporting global drug development.”

The development adds another global life sciences and technology operation to Hyderabad, where pharmaceutical, biotechnology, clinical research, data and technology capabilities are already present.

For Syneos Health, the Hyderabad centre expands its existing India presence with a facility focused on global life sciences and technology capabilities. For Hyderabad, it adds a new centre supporting global drug development across clinical, data, AI, and technology functions.
