ArcelorMittal has launched its Global Capability Centre, ArcelorMittal Global Business & Technologies (AMGBT), in Pune and Hyderabad to serve as a strategic hub for digital technology, IT infrastructure, data analytics, cybersecurity, and global business services. The centres will support global operations, particularly in Europe, and plan to hire 2,000 professionals as part of the company’s India expansion strategy. Designed as a long-term strategic hub, AMGBT will focus on driving enterprise transformation, operational efficiency, and technology-enabled innovation across the company’s global network. The move reinforces India’s growing role in high-value capability ownership within multinational operating models.
