ANZ Appoints Ganesh Vijaypurkar to Lead Bengaluru Global Capability Centre

Global banking company ANZ has appointed Ganesh Vijaypurkar as Head of its Group Capability Centre (GCC) and Managing Director, Bengaluru. He will lead ANZ's Bengaluru GCC, which employs more than 7,000 professionals across technology development, operations, and shared services. Established over 25 years ago, the centre has evolved from a technology-focused operation into a strategic enterprise capability hub supporting ANZ's global Technology Services and Operations division. Ganesh joins ANZ after a 29-year career at Citi, where he most recently served as Managing Director. The appointment supports ANZ's ANZ 2030 strategy, strengthening the bank's GCC leadership and reinforcing the strategic role of its India operations within the global organization.
