Toyo Engineering Corporation and MODEC, Inc. have jointly inaugurated Toyo MODEC OFS India Pvt. Ltd., a new Global Capability Center (GCC) located in Bengaluru, India. Spread across 100,000 sq ft, the GCC currently employs 200 professionals and plans to expand to 750 staff within three years. The center will execute key offshore engineering functions—including Front-End Engineering Design (FEED), detailed engineering, and procurement support for FPSO (Floating Production, Storage & Offloading) projects. The launch, attended by Japan’s Consul General Nakane Tsutomu, marks a milestone in Indo-Japanese collaboration and reinforces Bengaluru's position as a global engineering hub.
