The cabinet of the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh approved the Rules-2025 to operationalize the state’s Global Capability Centre (GCC) Policy-2024, marking a significant step toward execution and governance clarity for GCC investments in the state. According to the official cabinet decision issued by the Government of Uttar Pradesh, the Rules-2025 will come into effect from the date of notification of the GCC Policy-2024 and will remain valid until amended or withdrawn by the state government. Under the approved framework, Invest UP has been designated as the nodal agency responsible for administering the rules, coordinating approvals, and facilitating implementation.
